The crew from Gymshark had the cycle rickshaw out at Bury Athletics Ground last week. They needed to film an athlete sprinting around the track for their latest sportswear promo. A handheld gimbal was used off the side of the rickshaw as it cycled along with the runner.
The crew from Anglo Filming recently had the cycle rickshaw out at the Liverpool waterfront for a BT promo shoot. They filmed tracking shots of an athlete using a handheld Ronin rig.
The cycle rickshaw has been out at Wigan Athletics Stadium this week with the THG crew. They needed to track with a runner around the track for their latest sports campaign promo. The camera op. shot hand held with an Alexa Mini LF as they were chased by the athlete.
The cycle rickshaw has been out with the crew from upcoming BBC series “Defending The Guilty”. It was used to track with a cyclist around the streets of Ealing.
The Step on rickshaw has been out with the crew from UFA Fiction’s drama series “Valley Of The Fox” currently shooting in N.Wales. The Steadicam was hard mounted to it in low mode for tracking shots of a cyclist along Llandudno promenade.
Steadicam and camera op. Nigel Clarkson has just taken delivery of a Step on/off Rickshaw, plus balloon wheels, for filming on Stephen Poliakoff’s political drama “The Summer Of Rockets” which is currently shooting for the BBC.
Steadicam op. Joe Bullen and the crew from Emu Films in Manchester have been shooting the latest New Balance commercial at Liverpool FC. They used the step on rickshaw plus seat to capture dramatic low angle tracking shots across the pitch. Joe hard mounted his under slung rig to the deck and fitted the balloon wheels to smooth out the ride and protect the turf.
I have recently been shooting Steadicam on feature “Tell It To The Bees” currently filming in Scotland. The step on rickshaw was used extensively for fast tracking shots with a hard and soft mounted Steadicam as well as for hand held work.
