Rickshaw on “Truckers”
Bicycle Rickshaw
I have recently designed a bicycle mount to attach each model of rickshaw to any standard bike. Fitted in minutes, it allows the rickshaw to be towed at speed by a friendly cycling grip. Check out the configuration photos below :
Sand Blasted in Talacre
Just spent the day shooting “Skins” on the world’s most windy beach in Talacre N.Wales. So strong that all my windbreaks got trashed!
The Real Thing at The Philharmonic
Just completed filming the band “The Real Thing” in concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic for 53 North Productions. A fantastic gig covered by six cameras, including the Red Epic and my Steadicam darting all round the audience and stage. Very challenging but great fun.
Shooting with the Alexa on “Peaky Blinders”.
Spent the last few days shooting Steadicam with the Alexa on Tiger Aspect’s new period drama series ”Peaky Blinders” for the BBC.

Rickshaws For Sale
Steadicam supremo Roger Tooley has recently purchased a Step On /Step Off Rickshaw from me after hiring my original model for BBC drama series “Good Cop”. Roger, impressed with its light weight modular design and ease of use, asked me to build one for him. With the option of Balloon Tyres and switchable axle widths, it presented a couple of interesting challenges but Roger was very happy with the finished product. I have also completed another Step On/Off Rickshaw for Newton Grip Sevices who were very impressed after hiring from me.
I am happy to offer this sevice to anyone else who would be interested in purchasing their own Rickshaw. It certainly is a very versatile piece of kit to have around and can be quickly dismantled for storage in the smallest of spaces. Please check out the Rickshaw page for more information.
The Wombats
Just spent the day in Liverpool shooting local band The Wombats gigging on a Mersey ferry as part of the Olympic Torch celebrations. We had a multi camera set up on the deck comprising Steadicam with Alexa, Jimmy Jib and a couple of hand held Canon C300s and 5Ds.
